Audiowalk
Ěrinnern: ein antirassistischer Audiowalk zur deutschen Kolonialgeschichte
“Remembering: An Anti-Racist Audio Walk through German Colonial History” is a 90-min guided walking tour that I concepted, wrote, and narrated. It explores traces of Germany’s colonial past in Berlin’s urban spaces, focusing on the lesser-known history of German colonialism in China. The audio walk was edited by Eva Morlang and produced in collaboration with Bildungsnetzwerk China. Aimed at both German schools and the general public, it addresses topics including colonialism, migration, media, and racism.
The walk has been experienced by hundreds of listeners. Chinese translation coming in 2025.

Together with Bildungsnetzwerk China, I developed the "Remembering" learning poster to enhance the audiowalk experience for students.
The poster includes educational tasks, a historical timeline, and a map of the audiowalk stations.
Lectures, Workshops, Walking Tours
Focusing on colonial history, media, and ethical reporting from a decolonial perspective.
How (Not) to Report About Africa/Asia
Racial biases and colonial tropes about non-western countries and communities persist in everyday media coverage. The workshop is focused on major English and German print media published in the week of the event. Together, we will identify and dissect clichés and stereotypical narratives and examine the concept of “journalism neutrality”. Through collective critique and creative reimagining, participants will engage in a hands-on experience to develop more inclusive and empowering narratives and images.
